Group Executive Chef Cheng Wei Liang

Introducing Group Executive Chef Cheng Wei Liang, a culinary prodigy whose extraordinary journey in the F&B industry has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. From a young age, he knew he wanted to create something exceptional with his culinary skills, and that drive led him to Shatec Institutes, where he earned his Diploma in Culinary Skills.

Wei Liang’s culinary adventure began as an apprentice at renowned establishments like Cassis and Brasserie Wolf, where he honed his craft. His journey continued with stints at prestigious fine dining destinations like Ce La Vi and Salt Grill & Sky Bar, where he further refined his expertise.

As Sous Chef at 1880 and the Pentagon Group’s YOUNGS Bar & Restaurant, Wei Liang continued to polish his culinary artistry. However, it was as the Head Chef at the esteemed Loco Group that he truly made his mark. Leading a team of 15, he took full responsibility for the outlet’s menu and operations, contributing to the Loco Group’s recognition as one of Singapore’s most renowned Mexican restaurant groups.

With an impressive decade of experience and an unwavering passion for fine cuisine, Wei Liang joins the Armenor Collective as the Group Executive Head Chef. His confidence, determination for success, and culinary brilliance make him the perfect fit to lead our culinary team.

Notably, in 2015, Wei Liang’s talents were recognized when he achieved the remarkable feat of coming in 2nd runner up in the prestigious Star Chef Competition.

Noteworthily, he played a crucial role in securing Michelin star recognition for both Meta and Saint Pierre, showcasing his exceptional talent in creating exceptional culinary experiences.

Beyond his mastery in the restaurant and club domain, Jenzen’s passion for wine shines through as a certified sommelier and wine enthusiast. His deep knowledge and appreciation for wines further enrich the dining experiences of those he serves.
